ProScreen have established a network of nearly 500 carefully selected medical centres throughout the United Kingdom to take tests on our behalf. These centres include private hospitals and clinics as well as General Practices that meet our high standards.

All centres are able to undertake ThinPrep Cervical Smears, and an increasing number are able to take the blood samples needed for prostate and well person testing.
Our service standards dictate that we make your appointment at a centre within 40 minutes travelling time from you home or place of work. In the rare cases where we are unable to meet this requirement from our existing network we will make special arrangements with your own GP or another centre in your area which is prepared to work in partnership with us. Please note that a number of NHS GP’s are not prepared to participate in private schemes such as ours, so we cannot guarantee the availability of any particular centre.

At the centre your smear will be taken by a doctor, or a fully qualified nurse. In the great majority of cases, the smear taker will be a woman, and we will advise you if this is not to be the case.
